Third Nine Weeks Review
Different than the First Semester Review, the Third Nine Weeks Review will be for extra credit. Completing the review will take some time. However, it will be beneficial both in preparing for the exam and helping to raise your current grade.

Where do laws come from? This lesson teaches you about the sources, types, and unique systems of law that exist in the United States. Students learn about sources of law from the Constitution to local ordinances. They also compare and contrast civil and criminal law and peek into the special systems of military and juvenile justice.
Task !: Complete the following sections of the document posted below:
A. One Accident, Two Trials. Follow the diagram through to the questions on page 8
B. Vocabulary. Match the term with the correct definition from the lesson
C. What If? Select the correct type of law based on the scenario provided on page 9.
Sources of Law
Task I: Part I - Types of Law - Jigsaw The first part of today asks you to download and read YOUR specific file below. If you are a one, read the number one file, number two's, the two file and so on. It is YOUR personal job to become the expert on your type of law so that you can teach the rest of your group members about this form of law and help them to create a PicCollage in the next part of our task. In order to do this, the first five minutes of this activity will be spent working with your specific number groups. See the files below for the base of your information:
Task I: Part III - Types of Law - Padlet
Now that you have completed your PicCollages I want to have them all in one place! Below you will find a couple of links to our classes different walls. FIND YOUR CLASS LINK, go to it and post your PicCollage to the wall. To upload your PicCollage, make sure it is saved to the iPad library. Open the link to your class wall and double click the screen. Click the upload arrow to upload your picture to the wall. After you upload your PicCollage, be sure to post your names and types of laws you were assigned in the picture posting box. Once finished, explore the your classmates walls and try to find the most awesome example you can.
